The Start of Summer

This is my first "official" painting in Painter. I discovered the uses of this program several days ago, and I'm really liking it. A lot, in fact. So I thought I'd go a little all out and draw something of my own and color it.
I tried to go for that uplifting and happy feeling that I know so well from the beginning of summer vacation. Mine just ended, what a pity.

Software: Corel Painter 9 and finishing touches in Photoshop CS.
