Ria promotional image by FabianMonk Ria promotional image by FabianMonk
And in the meantime, here's one of the things I've been working on over at the Stenarts studio, where I officially started my internship today! It's a promotional image for a comic project called Ria (as... you might be able to tell), to be published by Soleil (as you might also be able to tell). Been on this one for quite a while, but now it's done!
This is going to be one hell of a project, and for as long as I can, I'll be handling the interior colors on this one as well. More info as it comes!

Pencils: Thorsten Kiecker
Colors: Me (Monk)

Software: Photoshop CS

Also, for those interested, here are the lines of the image. They're not the actual final lines that I colored, there was another clean-up involved that saved me time, awesomely.
Lastly, the silhouette in the background is not drawn by me, just some small parts but mainly it was from a previous image.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Nice work on your blog, keep it up!

As for the Satellite Soda Art Books 1 and 2... I think those are gone. The first one definitely is, I don't even own a copy of it, and I don't think the second one is still available either. But if you really wanna make sure, go to the Satellite Soda website and contact David Igo.

Half of the monsters left forearm (the one holding the sword) blends too much in the background. First time i saw it, i thought that his forearm was crippled or something.
But other than that, this is truly an excellent painting/drawing
