Peppar by FabianMonk Peppar by FabianMonk
Stanley Lau submitted some line-art of his lovely Pepper a couple of days ago, and I thought it was really cool. That's my story.

Pencils: Stanley Lau
Colors: Me (Monk)

Software: Painter 9 for colors. I used some most excellent brushes by Arnold Tsang suggested to me by the most excellent Janashi a while ago. I totally lost the link, but I'll try to find it and then I can edit this.

Edit: here's the [link] to the brushes. What you need to do in order to use these is first get a program that can expand .sit files. I used the StuffIt expander for this (google up the trial version), since neither WinRAR nor WinZip handle this format. Once you've extracted the two brush files, stick them into any sub-folder of your brushes folder in your Painter folder.

It's your coloring skills that I much admire--I'm very new to this and hope to one day bring light and shadow to my pics half as good as you do--all of your work is inspiring.

Those willies are entirely justified. The neck would be a splendid display of my complete lack of anatomy knowledge.

They shouldn't even have compressed the files at all. They're both like... 1 kb in filesize or something, it's nothing worth compressing even in the slightest.

Yeah, that's the link.
It's the mose retarded download ever though. What you need to do is first get a program that can expand .sit files (winRAR or winzip can't handle this format, which makes it completely useless in my opinion), like for example StuffIt. You can get a free trial version of something off of their official website (google it).
One you've done that it's actually easy. Just stick the two extracted brush files into one of the sub-folders of your brushes folder in your Painter folder. I put mine into the Acryllics folder for example, but that's totally up to you (in fact, I think their oils... not sure).

It's just such a hassle to get that retarded StuffIt program.
