ALRIGHT!!! READ THIS SHIT:
Come late December / early January, the third issue of
"The Cryptics", courtesy mostly of writer
Steve Niles (
30 Days of Night) and artist
Ben Roman (
I luv Halloween) will be hitting the shelves!!
What's this got to do with me, or anyone else for that matter (apart from the fact that everyone should buy it)? Well Ben Roman was awesome enough to give all the guys at Satellite Soda an opportunity to participate in the making of this book! We each got to draw our very own page! The pages all follow the same script though, so in the end the result is a story that flips drastically between different artist styles from page to page.
To give you an idea, the above preview showcases three examples of the finished product! The first page was done by Kris Anka (

), the second page was done by Shane Long (

), and the last page was done by yours truly!
The pages are of course out of context, although the last two pages are actually in order. But there's a (very kick ass) page missing between the first and the second. But obviously we're not going to show them all, because we want you to have some incentive to actually BUY THE BOOK!
Other mad mad talent included in the line up:
Rob Iza

!! Vidar Cornelius

!! Dylan McCrae

!! David Igo

!! And of course Ben Roman

Colors for the rest of the book provided by Kyle Foster (

), PLUS a backup story by Billy "Bloodzilla" Martin (
[link] ), PLUS pinups by David Murdoch (

) as well as Josh Hoye (
[link] ), and if that's still not enough for you then there's also a special bonus back cover by non other than superstar
Sean Galloway
, which you can actually view here:

SO! Be sure to let your local comic shops know to pre-order this bad boy! It will be published by
IMAGE COMICS, so it should be anything other than hard to get!
Be sure to let us know what you think too!
Good work. Made me laugh at least. ;D
-Josh Hoye

Usually, isn't it you who 's in charge of the colors on that book?
